Dear Members,
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan has agreements with several Italian Education Institutions such Universities and Business School, graduate and post graduate courses, in order to offer its Members the possibility to host Italian students in their last year or new graduates seeking a position as Interns at Your company.
From simple tasks to complex project managing, an Intern can constitutes a valuable resource in order to boost the productivity at your office. Hosting
an Intern will constitute an opportunity for the Company but even for the Intern himself, who will learn those basic skills required to work in an
International environment.
If you apply for an Intern, the Chamber will help you to find the best candidates available with the expected requirements. Most candidates have an
economic/business background, others have Japanese studies. Many have both.
Other agreements with Technology and Engineering Universities are under evaluation.
You will have the chance to evaluate the profiles we submit to Your attention and, if You have found your ideal candidate, we will support you
with the formal procedures required by the Educational Institutions so to facilitate contacts between the parties.
Terms & Conditions:
Internship duration:
1. Not exceeding three months.
2. For longer periods, the Chamber will help the Company and the candidates
to start the procedures for acquiring the proper Visa.
Salary: Up to the host organization. Many companies, depending on their budget, may decide not to provide any compensation to the Intern. Others
cover only commutation expenses while still others can pay full or reduced salary or scholarship. Basically, a form of support to the Intern`s expenses
may contribute to encourage the candidate to accept the position, especially if the company is Tokyo based.
Insurance: The Educational Institution will provide candidates with proper Insurance for the Internship period.
Cost: the service is free and is directed only to ICCJ Members.
Application procedures: all the Members can benefit from this service. No registration is required. The very moment You decide to host an Intern,
please fill in the request form attached to this email and send it by fax to the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. We will contact You as soon as
possible to define the details.
Be aware that the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan will not be responsible for any damage incurred by the Company or by the Intern due to misunderstandings or irresponsible behavior of one of the parties resulting in the termination of the Internship period. In this case the Chamber will
inform the Educational Institution of the event.
