Five years into Abenomics and a few months left before the Olympic Games, now more than ever Japan feels the push to change for the better its social infrastructure and economy. Striving to keep the pace, many mature companies face problems with an inefficient workforce. Long working hours, low creativity and risk aversion are often the result of inadequate HR management.
Last year, Unilever Japan launched a revolutionary approach to HR called WAA (Work Anywhere Anytime) as a core part of its restructuring. What impact is this policy achieving on Unilever employees and results? Can it be a model for other companies?
